EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! SO CUTE!!

I know you said you want to avoid pvc. I hide my pvc tubes under rocks so you can't really see them unless you are really inspecting the tank. Also, my fire eel likes to hide under the pvc tubes ....don't know what to think about that haha. The clown loaches join him under there too!!! Nuts! Congrats, I can't stay away from them either!

Whats Up Blast!! Thank you.. At this point I a going to try to stay away from pvc still but may change a couple things around to make him feel more secure... but i can agree they wind up in the odest places!

I know, my dad told me to use the white pvc because thats the type that can be used for human drinking water......with the black sand.....ugh total eye sore!!!

My little 8 inch dude is doing well, he's eating frozen krill now so I am hella happy!!!!!!!

I bought another clown loach today, so I made my school 3 now. I think thats good for now, they are very active and not shy. I have lots of river rock from the sierra's and drift wood in my tank, plus java moss and some swords.

Lets see a video of your eel eating!??!?! So CUTE! omg . lol. Once my eel, Smaug, is full grown....I swear to god if he jumps and dies I will lay in bed for a week crying and have a wine I.V. hooked up. LOL!!!!!!

LOL... your dad was correct on the PVC... but there is a tank safe paint my builder used on my drains that you can paint them black... let me hit him up and i will let you know.

Never enough clown loaches... check out my vid of my moray to see some of mine.

Haven't seen my fire eel eat anything yet...lol but once he does I will get a vid. How did you get yours to take krill?? any tricks?
 
Nice, I had a 1 footer in my 120 but like your old one he decided to escape.
 
No tricks, I thawed out the krill and he knows me as his mommy that brings him food. He will come right out and swim to the top for me. I just held it in my fingers, and prayed he didn't bite me .....hey man he's kinda small but shoot he packs a bite!!!! I'll thaw out like 10 of them once I hand feed him at least two and put them at the bottom. My goldies eat some of them but they leave them there and he eats them in time. I can even handle him like some people on youtube dancing him thru my fingers. God if I said any of this at work or school people would be like wtf is wrong with you, you dance with your eel??? you hold out raw food in your hands for a fish??? EWWW???? Biiiiooootch I love my eel~ ....anyways lol.....When I get tired of holding the krill sometimes I wiggle it around to hurry him up to swallow what he has and take another lol. I am so happy because bloodworms don't go along way with clown loaches and big ass oranda goldfish, and the fire eel will take an entire cube to himself while the ghostknife cries in the corner. Yea I know I have a strange tank ....ghost knife, fire eel, clown loachs and goldfish....lol
