Right, two different people though officials suspect they were all associated and working together.

Does it really matter if they made cracks at other religion? Only one doesn't want you to draw their deity in the form of a joke or praise. not really a heavy discussion we can have here but I think we can agree on what I just pointed out.

I doubt if those wackos would mind if their deity was praised in a cartoon but either way I find it amazing that people can be so brainwashed to the point of taking up arms and killing innocent people over a comic joke...France has quite a problem on its hands but there are areas in Michigan, namely Dearborn where followers of this religion have just about taken over and are trying to change the laws of the land to their Sharia law.
What made you bump the thread anyhow?

I came off "participated threads"

Seriously though, research it. Their deity is not to be shown period. You ever seen a statue? Paintings? Shrines proudly shown or built by any followers?

South Park received the same threats a few years back btw. They pulled the episode and then showed it later. It'd be pretty easy for someone to roll up in their office and do the same thing

I did a quick google search to verify a long standing belief from when I researched all forms of beliefs years ago. Gonna do some editing to clean it up. Thread'll be closed regardless but here's my attempt

The permissibility of depictions of the founder of Islam, has long been a concern in the religion's history. Oral and written descriptions are readily accepted by all traditions of Islam, but there is disagreement about visual depictions. The "book" does not explicitly forbid images of the deity but there are a few supplemental teachings which have explicitly prohibited followers from creating visual depictions of figures.

Most Sunni Muslims believe that visual depictions of all the prophets of Islam should be prohibited and are particularly averse to visual representations of the deity. The key concern is that the use of images can encourage idolatry. In Shia Islam, however, images of the deity are quite common nowadays, even though Shia scholars historically were against such depictions. Still, many followers who take a stricter view of the supplemental traditions will sometimes challenge any visual depiction including those created and published by non-Followers

1. Foreign intervention is never worth it because you always lose in the end

And

2. Never wage a war against a noun (ie. drugs, poverty, terrorism, etc.) because you always lose in the end.

a country is a noun isn't it?
A pronoun, right?

Flower power only works if your opponent is civilized.

The 'enemy' is never civilized. Throughout history, whatever side your on, the 'others' are always depicted as a barbarian hord.
No different today. Truth is, both sides are responsible for unspeakable acts of violence, oppression and blatant hypocrisy. I mean, did you see the rally in Paris with all those western leaders arm in arm proclaiming to be for free speech and free press?
HYPOCRISY!
Each one of them has journalist, whistleblowers, and political activists locked in their prisons. Scores of them!
