The dog sprinting is a Dane I think which is a big arse dog.. I have one, and because of it's long stride it walks faster than I run.. I say the lab jumping got pummeled.. 2nd dog got injured? I say plausable! Don't make me take this shibby to Mythbusters spizz..

lol I could be wrong.. Larger dog could even be a mutt.. But it's brindle, stocky head, skinny legs, just looked like a dane to me.. They're not known for speed btw but when they want to move they f'n haul arse.. lol
