I love the big fish, but their is little investment when you pay big money for someone else's work.

Well said. Hope that group works for you. They've got a great environment to grow out in.

I'm looking for a "common" fish myself that seems to be very elusive for some reason. You're absolutely right about common fish though, they're common probably because they're some of the most enjoyable to keep. GL

So far the ebjd is fine with them. They are small and the tank is 8 ft. I will keep an eye on it and I do have a couple of more tanks in case there are issues.

Very cool. Ya I would imagine the size of the tank would definitely help a lot. Anyway, I love all those fish and best of luck. Enjoy!

those fish at that size sure will love to grow in that 240. how about some pics of that jag :naughty::headbang2

In the third post on this thread there is one of the little guy.

heres my 2nd post lol. first i would like to say i wish i had that tank haha. i think that is a great list and i wish i had room for a big enough tank to house those types of fish. The ebjd mite have a hard time. they are no where near as hardy as a regular jack especially at small sizes. but im pretty new to fish keeping so i could be wrong, and im sure you know what you are doing. I hope all goes well and look forward to seeing these fish grow.

Thanks,
Steve

Welcome to MFK. You are right about ebjd's. I will keep a close eye on them as they grow. They are not as hardy regular jd's. I am most concerned about the jag and festae. So far the 8 ft of space is helping.

Thanks for the welcome! And ya im sure the 8 ft will help alot. I hope it works out for you ebjd are great looking fish as well as all the others you have in the tank. And ya they are both really agressive i hear.

Best of luck,
Steve

nice job!

Tough it takes sometime.. its' always rewarding to see the growth of a fish... I've raised enough babies that i thought i would let go.. but later on they turned out to be real beauties...

Best of luck on the stock! ;)
