Hello all. Long time no see for MFK.

I was a fairly frequent user here a while back when I was building my 300 Gallon tank but became of victim of lifes many events.

Things are finally settled down for the most part and I've just set up my first tank in over two years. As many of you know fish keeping is an addiction and a lifestyle. My wife and I bought our first home 3 months ago so now I can do whatever I want.

To start things off slowly and not scare my wife I set up my only remaining tank which is a 37 gallon tank. Currently it has 3 zebra danios and mickey mouse sword tail in it to cycle the tank and keep my 3 year old entertained. Anyone have any good suggestions for fish or decoration for it? It's pretty bare at the moment.

In the near future I'm hoping to replace the floating wood floor in my basement with a poured concrete floor with a drain so that I can have a large tank or nine down there. Hopefully I'll be more active around here as I love seeing every ones fish and the DIY builds.

Welcome back to the form.

Welcome back brother!!! Good to see you post again Eric! You should head over to my place and have a beverage so I can Shanghai you into helping move a few tanks around haha

I start a new job Monday so gotta prep for that otherwise I'd be there this morning.

Maybe next weekend or so. I need to get outta town for a day or two. Things have been so crazy with buying the house and the new baby. Also I'm gonna be turning 30 on the 10th of aug. Time does fly doesn't it.

Definitely some cories. I love them. I had one big guy for years but he went to a new home when I had to break down my 300 gallon.

Never had good luck with gourami's. Something always seemed to happen. Expcept for one blue that you couldn't kill with a hammer. Although, one out of ten is pretty bad odds.
