I am sick of Algae.

In my experience the best way to deal with algae is to use basic lighting, I use two T8's. Limit the lighting period to 6 hours a day. Also regular water changes to keep nitrates low.

If you have a problem with black bush algae make sure you have good circulation in the tank. You can also use a double dose of a liquid carbon supplement like easy carbo. This will make black bush algae turn red and die.

Pareentroplus gibbiceps are awesome fish, too that eat algae, but not off the glass
