I think I am all good, all test still show 0 plus the ammonia is a darker yellow today then it was yesterday.
 
dude i unpluged my filter ever night my fish are doing great. also iv had my filter go out for 2 days and nothing happen it seems like when other ppls filters go out there fish die??
 
Mine was offline for just over 48 hours, with no ill effect. I think the large amount of "Live" rock I have helped, since a water change leaves me with .50 ammonia, yet even with the filters off the ammonia went down to 0.

I was really worried about the BB starving and dieing.
 
yeah i had that happen to me when a piece of gravel got stuck in the impeller and it didn't spin for 36 hours

been there, done that. MANY TIMES:duh:
 
I did this more than I would like to say. Usually I forget for hours at a time and my Jack Dempsey reminds me as he comes to the side of the tank im at, gasping for air while at the mid-height of the tank.

I use my filters to agitate the surface of the water.

I never worry about the stats, the toxins won't spike in 4-6 hours time.
 
We all make mistakes. At least you didn't fall asleep while doing a water change on a 125 and left you 18" RD and several other monsters flopping around in 2" of water. It takes a TRUE IDIOT to pull off a move like that*
