From el salvador and need your help. I whole heartedly believe this to be a new color variant to the Parachromis Motaguense. Please vote accordingly. I present to you the Fire Tiger Motaguense.
here is the female FTM currently in my possesion.
With no flash.

Not a pro with these like you man.. but I see no real color difference than the ones across the web.

Can you be more specific on what is different than the RTM?

The RTM is red...
The gold is yellow... and the fish I collected is right in between.
members please post either gold or red if you own them for comparison. Specially females, the males pictured are dead and were much more colorful when alive... so not a great indicator of color.
Here is my Male Red Tiger for reference.

Holy crap! That is insane. Those motas are ridiculously hot!!! Looks like a rtm. Wished the males survived. I would've bought some off of you, seriously if you let.

Thanks Tyd!
The small RTM I have shows promise of being male. Lets hope in 6 months he wants a little cougar action from the 6 inch female...

Please keep in mind that the RTM is found only in certain parts of Honduras and these are from El Salvador in a different locale. For your curiosity they were collected in La Union, In Stream "la bruja" in el carbonal, next to Anamoros.

Gorgeous colors! Stop teasing us and post some more pics. All of them, the good, the bad and the ugly.

I should have voted for a new name for the Mota: Balton's Motaguense :D

Balton, this ones for you.
Heres the first one I took and is kind of washed out as i had a higher ISO setting due to shooting in darker areas. Doesn't show the red tones as much. a little out of focus but still looks decent.
