I cannot imagin eating any of my fish...I am a vegitarian of course but I work on a beef cattle/pig/chicken farm and I don't hold them in as high regard as I do my fish. My fish are my pets, just like my cats or any animal I take into my home. I believe that if we are to take in any animal as a pet we must except the responsability that comes with it throughout its lifespan. If you cannot care for the fish a couple years from now or even think you are going to get tired of it then do not get it in the first place. Killing a fish and eating it just because your tired of it or don't want it anymore is a cop out. Like kids with toys.

I thought aquarium fish were suppose to not taste good because of the types of food we feed them? Did you use alot of seasoning?

If I ever run out of food stamps, I will just breed oscars to keep myself alive!

If you did not spend all your money on fish you would not need food stamps and then you would not have to resort to eating oscars of all things.

I can imagin other fishes tasteing a lot better but I have actually heard they are pretty good. I would like to clear up some stuff here though, if eating your fish is fine by you...great, I don't understand how someone can eat their hobby but I am not trying to attack anyone here, just express my opinion on the subject. Normally I have no problems with meat eaters, I have problems with where the meat comes from. Better to eat your pet fish then some farm raised salmon but again...I emphasize the word Pet. Then again, I guess a lot of you see your fish more like farmed salmon then pets.

holy hell...I could not IMAGINE eating my fish...but hey if you can...at least they aren't going to waste

I'm not so sure I have anything to say to this.. I'm kind of disturbed to be honest...
