I know a girl whose parents were poor and cooked her pet bunny for dinner one night. When she asked them what happenned to it they told her she just ate it. She's a vegetarian now.

Same thing happened to my grandma. Her family was too poor to afford anything to eat on easter so they cooked her bunny, except they told her first so she had to watch them butcher and skin it.

I'd be more worried about getting poisoned from what ever is living at the base of your tap, then eating the fish

Did you at least gut out the fish....or did you cook it with all it's contents for more taste?

I have also never heard of people cooking fish with the guts in, only in whitebait.
