I bought 2 20G tanks - What to put in them?

put dwarf puffers in one tank, live food is not required, just give him a land snail shell with food in it every now and the to shorten his teeth.

Other would be nice for a fry grow out with hornwort as they don't need strong light.

i would start with some water... you can move on from there
