I bought a Failed DIY project!!!!!!

They called me into the shop today and then called it off. They are cutting the power to wire up a new transformer. So now I sit here in deep thought 
.. Just thinking about who I can get to help with bringing this monster out of his basement. I guess first things first. I have to move a 180g to get it in my house to work on it. The silicone will not set well outside in the michigan weather.

Ok update. I moved stuff out from around the doorway and did my measurements. I didn't have to move my 180g to bring in the new project 
.. I had just enough room--I mean just enough 
. With piggy67's help along with a friend of mine, we managed to get the tank out of the basement, loaded it in the back of my truck, and brought it in the house. This tank is the heaviest I have ever had to move(guessing around 500lbs).
So tonight We just got it in the house along with the plumbing and the replacement glass panel. The stand was built in the guys basement with an air nailer. I'm going to go back with a saws all and cut the nails so I can bring it up the stairs. I saved all the bulk heads and the overflow.
They called me in to work tomorrow for a few hours. So after work I'll start cutting the back panel out.
Here are a few pics of the tank inside the house. One has a pop can on the top for scale....As piggy67 says "I'm not the best photographer"....

that thing is a beast tank..
We lost power early this morning 
!!! Not to worry though all the fish are fine . I woke up to the noise of pumps priming. I jumped out of bed checked everything--All is well.. thank God!!!! Looks like I start my wcs today.
I've been looking at the design of the tank project. I have to remove the top and all of the top supports in order to remove the back. The supports are also laminated glass strips that are siliconed to the front and back as well as the top. Lots of silicone cutting in the near future. I think I'm going to try the old guitar string method to remove the glass panels(this has worked well for me removing windshields in the past) These pics show the tank on it's back(the pane I have to remove is on the floor).
I'll keep you guys posted,

remember - cleaning off that old silicone and prepping for the new silicone is the most important part!!!!!!!!!!
