is that $1000 before or after the super red. cause otherwise that one cheap asian aro. around here they go for like $1500 or so for a 10" or less fish. :irked:

No substrate = personal preference and easier maintenance (I have quite a healthy bioload) ;)
 
Is that a sun catfish in your pics? if so how big is it ive recently brought one and have had lots of different quotes on evenutal size.

Yeah ... it is. I've got two - one is around 4" and one around 5". According to the references I've read, they should get 12-14" in a tank ... bigger in the wild (18"). Mine have grown quite a bit since I got them and them always eat well and have nice tound bellies.

We'll just have to wait and see won't we! :D

How big is yours? (Your suncat i mean...)
