Drizzt04, welcome to the forum. I have a feeling people here are going to welcome you with open arms!

Some questions for you:
1. How long would it take for you to build something like this (8'x4')?
2. How much would materials cost for a stand this size using the design in the link reference above? I'm sure it depends on the size of the material you're using, but based on material you would recommend using, how much would it cost?

That' really generous of you to offer your skills for fellow MFKers. I would be careful though...someone here might ask you to build a stand for a 50,000 gallon tank!

how about a stand for a tank that has a footplant of 72" x 30"? 40" tall would be fine.

Hi. I am new to the site and I already love you guys. I live in northeast Ct. I weld for a living at my sheet metal company. If any of you need something done, let me know.
