WOW! What do you do---wear a drysuit? The soonest we would consider launching our boat and wakeboarding would be the end of May, and we would have wetsuits on board!

Here in extreme N. Calif. the magnolia trees are mostly done blooming. We've got lots of rain to contend with, though, but still manage to get golfing in on the dry days!

So it is lush and rainy like Seattle and ..like England.. here it is cold damp snowy and windy:grinno: So theres not much sun there?? Or do you have sunny morning and rainy afternoons.. ;)

Crescent City is on the coast near the Oregon border. It's sort of like Seattle, but with the lush redwood forests and beaches.:) We live out of town off the Smith River and have to contend with black bears raiding our garbage cans and raccoons eating the outside cat's food. We trapped and released 8 nuisance coons who are now park rangers in the nearby national park! We don't have big malls, but I've got the world at my finger tips..with online shopping, who needs malls. Just took these pics.

Yes, I consider myself very fortunate to live here:)
Did you always live there? Did you ever have earthquakes there? I lived in Downey, California for about a year.. i should have traveled over to your area before i left.. because i know i would have loved it there. ;) And coons i am used to too.. one morning i went out to my barn to feed the horses and turned on the barn light to see the racoon and my barn cat side by side eating cat food.. they all make friends with each other .. another night a big rat was sharing dinner with my horse.. Legacy did not mine.. But the barn is near the woods and the horse grain brings them in once in awhile.. :D

Wow, what is all that white stuff lol. Beutiful pics!

Sweet view Pacu Mom!!your not too far away,My family has a vacation home over that way perhaps 10-15 minutes north of Patricks Point, nice country but I've only been that way a few times out of the "non-summer" months and Ive promised myself not to ever do that again,I dont know how anyone could.

It is definately past spring here in the Redding Valley.Anything that flowers has pretty much already done so and grown fresh new leaves.Temps in the upper 70's to mid 80's.

PS:being even farther noth than I am,have you gotten a chance to check out Nui Kai pets in Medford OR?I drive there on occasion from Redding,it's that good.Theres also a few around Coos Bay OR that can get in a rare fish now and then but not like Nu Kai.How are the LFS in your area?

Nice pic! I guess everything is relative...I can hardly wait for summer...at Shasta Lake with temps between 95 and 115 where you have to jump in the water to cool off and survive the heat. We have to put the cat in the water to swim and cool off...by the end of last summer she would get off her board and swim back to the boat.

Summer is my favorite time of the year!:) I'm in favor of bypassing spring and going straight to summer!

Patricks Point is lovely! Some of the best agate hunting occurs on Agate Beach. You live in Redding?.....I would love to live in Redding, if I could be on the Shasta Lake every day during the summer!

We have NO LFS--the local feed store burned to the ground a few months ago, which leaves us with only WalMart. There is a small fishstore in Brookings, OR. I try to buy fish supplies from Big Als, or hit PetsMart when we go to Medford, OR. Will definitely check out Nui Kai Pets. Thanks for the tip! :)
