When u say giant blue's? are they the 10" and larger type or just big crawfish? I am looking to get a few BIG blue ones. and GIANT is ( to be completely grammatically incorrect) more gooder! would u know where I can acquire some?

Those look like what are sometimes called rusty crays they naturally have that blue on there backs and have blue, purplish claws

My LFS had a blue "lobster" that was freshwater. It looked just like the blue crays, only this one was literally about 12" long and the thickness of my arm! :WHOA: They wanted $250 for him, and a couple months later, someone had actually bought it...

And as for catching wild blue crayfish, i don't mean to burst anyone's bubbles, but I've caught soooo many babies that look blue and purple, but they still grow up to be just a bluer shade of gray. None of them have ever turned out to become electric blue adults. But then again, I am up here in frigid NH... :screwy:

I have lots of those, it's a color morph of P. clarkii. Extremely common in the pet trade. There's also white P. alleni, but they've been so badly inbred at this point that they're harder to get and work with. :-\
