Lol, petsmart could never get true red terrors if their life depended on it. Those are uros buddy, no "Y" bar up front. The tail spots of uros can vary in size.

Hahahaha,i just noticed the dates on these posts......anyway,when someone collects a Amphilophus Festae they know they have an Amphilophus Festae,do you even know what they cost???Even though Petsmart is corporate,they'd know if they were paying for Festae or Uropthalmus.AND!!!! With the two being switched for eachother regularly,then im SHURE all Uro/RT trades get QUITE the examination,i.e. Petsmart employee who comes on MFK or just knows his/her fish will see the RT in the batch and take 'em!!!! Petsmart will N-E-V-E-R get RT's!!!!! So i can rest assure that a True RT will never hit corporate tanks.......
I got several PetSmart so called Red Terrors as well. They are Uros. That's OK. I knew that when I bought them, but they were marked closeout at $1.69 each. So I figured, what the hell, maybe I can get a pair out of the group, and bought them all. The funny thing was, that they also had GT's in the same tank, marked $8.99. The guy catching them couldn't tell one from the other, so I got one of the green ones for $1.69 as well. LOL! This post is ancient!
Petsmart = URO 100% percent of the time, Worked there for a year, they are way to cheap to make that mistake, Hell it took them 8 months to fix are air conditioner we reported it may 06, so naturally they came in December to fix it when being cold was the last thing we wanted.
