I can't keep Snails alive

aicidic water slowly dissolves or eats away at their shells! Also, it seems my ray likes to suck them out of their shells!

O.K I will make the water more Alkaline thanks for the help I will have to watch out for them if I get any rays

They do.... and they need calcium.

I add some calcium and use crushed coral in my substrate.

I don't think that I'd have any copper or other trace elements in the aged water because I use nov-aqua, and Amquel plus to condition the water with every change, but I will check with that. Thanks

Newer homes can have high copper levels in tap water from copper plumbing. Older homes usually have enough buildup on the copper surface to prevent excessive leeching into the tap water.

hmm never thought about that. My house is around 30-50 years old so That's kind of in the middle
