I caught on camera birds attacking Hawk.... so cool...right place at the right time

Wow, awesome. Yep, those are Redwings, and yeah, Passerine birds can be vicious in defending their nests. I saw a Mockingbird attacking a cat in my neighbor's yard once.

I also saw a Starling evading a Cooper's Hawk by staying right above and directly behind it, so that the Hawk couldnt dive-bomb it and hit it with its talons.

i never knew this.. wow

from what i read about the red wing.. only males have the red wings..females are dull brownish color.. correct me if i am wrong..
