cool, Yea I always loved the look of a dem/lab tank, but I actually decided to go a different rout. Wanted to try something different. I've done the peacocks and haps and mbunas and tons of sa/ca, Ive always liked Tanganyika cichlids but wasnt to familiar with them and the are not common in my lfs's at all. but after a ton of research I decided that this is the rout I wanted to take. So yesterday I picked up a Neolamprologus cylindricus, a 5 barred cichlid, 2 julidochromis marlieri and a tanganyika crab <-hes really cool. ofcourse before I added them I did a monster WC and re conditioned the water to fit the tangs needs. they are all juvi's and very small. My plan is to put some more nelamp's and juli's for the rocks on both sides of the tank and some shell dwellers in the middle, and a calvus and comp or two plus some other free swimmers. tropheus are great but I dont want to have that constant aggression like with the mbuna. although a school of some other free swimmers would be nice.
what do you guys think
