I Couldn't Resist....Again.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey guys I realize that all 3 big arrows were a bit cramped in the 22O,
but they had massive filtration and I do do water changes.
It's not like I was planning on flushing them or anything.
Yes my netting technique needs work and it sucks that the one died.
The reason I offered these on mfk was to make room for my blues, I had a LFS that would take them if I needed to let them go.
Since Eddie got my blue for me, I had no qualms about that, but thought I would offer them to mfk folk since so many here are fans of big fish. and the chance of a good home was better.

really, just out of curiosity, how did they loose their barbels?

Just a guess...but bumping into glass constantly could possibly cause it. just speculation though...

Oh the barbels
These guys were pretty owner responsive
if i would go downstairs just to do some work and not feed them they would run up and down the tank staring at me.
Thing is.. If i fed them as much as i wanted they would explode
I have a split level and when the kitchen light would go on while feeding the cats the arrows would all be clustered at the end of the tank.
It's amazing how much they can see out actually.

i'm sad that the one died, he was a nice fish:( but i know pat is totally into his fish so the survivor did get a great home

Arrows are imho probably the most impressive pet fish
What scares me is how much i've learned in the past year and how much there still is to learn

Zoo you are the man! The Arowana Man!
