I cracked a 10 gallon. Any suggestions for a different setup?

roaches are your best bet.

i keep both roaches and crickets, and well crickets suck.

The Largemouth Bass passed on, but I still keep the bullfrog and she eats a good variety of minnows and crawfish, but I feel worms or insects would round it out well. How do you get the roaches from their enclosure to the mouth of the pet? "roach clips"??
Seriously though, they seem a bit nastier and they really are, right?
How much time do you invest on them per batch?

Roaches aren't nearly as nasty as crickets. They're clean, quiet, and odorless.

yup. and they are super easy to care for.

i have mine in a ten gallon tank. i keep a heat pad under one side to keep the temp up and i make sure they have food and water cubes and thats about it. you keep them warm and fed and they take care of the rest. i just started a new colony.

ive been feeding mine chick starter. i got it from a local feed store and they seem to love it. and its real cheap. i got a 50lb bad for arounf 8 bucks.

I mainly feed my mine bulk tropical fish flakes. I also give them crushed dog kibble, grated carrots, mango baby food (they go nuts for it), leaf lettuce, crushed cereal and flukers cricket quencher for moisture.

go to walmart and buy a new 10 gallon for less than 15 bucks! breed some tree frogs! theyre tiny but very nice!

Well the tank is "sealed" but drips when full of water, so a terrarium is my best bet. Tree frogs sounds interesting! Or any other frog for that matter, would be very nutritional to my bullfrog "ms. piggy":

I now have a pretty good idea of what I am going to do. Will roaches do okay in a big plastic tupperware? I just need something that is going to seal good!
How big do your roaches get?

The 10 gal in question is a dome lid with a hole for a filter, so I think terrarium of some sorts will be good enough to not let it go to waste. Maybe I'll do a small waterfall sectioned off away from the crack in the glass. What would go well in a 10 gal terrarium?

And tanks for all your help..haha It's just so tight these days I have to spend as little as possible on my "hobbies".
