I.D. for a tiny catfish found under rock in river

Does yours swim at the top of the water all day? Mine isn't taking advantage of the real estate as much as I would have thought. I might as well have one inch of water in the tank. Still cool though, the big ones seem pretty neat.

Nice little yellow bullhead. Catch a lot of them that size and bigger in the Delaware canal below Easton. But watch out for the muskies- this is what they left me with out of 2- 12" bullheads. Felt bad and left the remaining one go.

Muskies (muskellugne)= freshwater barracuda. In northern US they are usually the biggest, baddest fish in a water body. Don't know about the South- Alligator Gar and the Bull Sharks that swim up the Mississippi are nasty.

Caught one last year and it actually scared me. It's an aquatic nightmare. The thing has a duck bill full of teeth, it was the reason I decided to carry lip grips.

When u catch a fish that scares u because of teeth. Just hold it upside down. Calms them right down. Bullheads are tuff and hardy. use to have one. Been thinking of going and catching me another one actualy. And they already have flatheads above conowingo dam also. So there coming your way

I'm embarrassed about that catch man. It made me look stupid. The thing was flipping around so much and I was jumping around trying to avoid it, it looked like we were dancing on the shore together. I learned a few valuable lessons about fishing that day. One, be prepared for anything. Two, grab the fish like you have a pair. And three, I dance better when I am afraid.
