i have a few flower horns. this is definately not a flower horn

don't you know flowerhorn is just another name for hybrid now lol. I see what they are saying though, your fish does have a very faint flowerline which I have never seen on a cyan. Could be a hybrid but kids just like the word "flowerhorn."

Flowerhorn = hybrid. Hybrid = flowerhorn. They're synonymous.

It doesn't look like a "pure" cyano to me based off the faint pearl line. That better?

No offense, but how did you fail to take clear pictures of an unmoving fish?

I agree that it could be a hybrid, but its not one that would be sold as a FH. It looks a bit more like a Carpintis to me though.

a condition called tremors, thats why its hard for me to take a clear picture with one hand.
some more pics. i see what you guys are saying now about why it might be a hybrid.
this i my carpintis.

here is the fish under discussion.

Agreed, cyan 100%. There isn't an outline along the outside of the spots like a flowerhorn would have.

Is that one of the little carp's you bought from me? He's looking NICE!
