I agree, either Amatitlania septemfasciata or myrnae.
Below are some mynah I had.

male above, female below

The females have a color/pigment notch in the dorsal.
Breeding colors are stunning.


The main difference of myrnae from septemfasciata are the rows of metallic and iridescent dots on the lower body.
And a trapezoid from the ventral to above the pectoral zone, according to the Cichlid Room Companion(cichlidae.com)

Here is a quote from Michi Tobler on cichlidae.com
"Contrary to septemfasciatum, myrnae is almost lacking the vertical bars. It has a lateral blotch and one on the caudal peduncle. Furthermore, the coloration is golden (especially on the breast) to faint brown (much darker in septemfactiatum). The fins have many small blue spots. In both species the iris is blue."

If you look at duanes' fish, you can see there are no stripes and the color is more of a golden beige, wheras OP's fish is reddish (darker) which I have always attributed to septemfasciatus, and you can faintly see the vertical bars. Of course 100% positive ID between two species so close is impossible just from looking at the fish; but this is why I think it is septemfasciata
For 10 bucks, that is an amazing and uncommon pick-up.
 
When I got mine, they were sold at a cichlid auction as septemfasciatum...
it was only later I discovered they were mynae.
And for many years they were thought to be location variants of the same species.
I tried to add two photos before, I'll try again.

I think it is a myrnae mine looks just like your mail pic I got a new grow light the same day and it makes everything look kind of purple you put a white light on him and its just like your's here is a pic showing the stub nose to.
