One had more of a goldish base... and the other more bluish/green. Also, notice the difference in tail.


There are very drast difference's in these two fish. The tail is the thing that I would have looked right over. But yes that is a huge difference!

odviously there are big diff in wild cichla that is collected from diff locations.. over the year as all these so called new are popping up it seems that ever river holds a diff species

Come on Brian you are talking to one of the founding father's of cichla, he told me himself that he, you, diesel, and some of the other guys were keeping and id'ing cichla on the other board YEARS ago. You remember that right Brian?
