i caught this little guy at the river today he swam into my minnow net what is it ive never seen one there

I caught one of those a couple days ago and i caught another one like it that is extremely colorful (blue green and orange). they were in the same pool of water and i think they might be a pair idk. They also preffer bubbles and rocks on the bottom.

Nope, it's a darter. I think it's a Johnny, but I'm not 100% sure
