Hm... ever since I made the huge mistake of selling my bichirs to my friends, I haven't been browsing the polypterus forum much, too painful...
When I read the title of this this thread, I thought a new species had been found and described as Polypterus petcetra (what a cool example of binomial nomenclature!).
Instead, it's just a sen from some spot called Pet Cetera... a slightly tongue twisting, slightly annoying name for a pet store. Oh well, I can still fantasize about discovering a new species of polypterus in south america. (check out the fossil discovery areas of ancient bichirs )
