I.d pike cichlid and sex please 12"

Cheers pal, it's the first larger pike I've kept or bigger one I've even seen tbh. They are quite a beast at 12", alot stockier than I imagined.

Nope good as gold ATM... Knock on wood.
He was beating up 15-16" cichla in his last tank, that was a 7*2*2 stocked with alot of big bass and no decor tho so maybe the extra width and mellow tank mates is having an effect, maybe he is just settling tho.

I keep my temps fairly low too at 24deg so that could help too.
