Things like this happen very often. A shop sold some channa as gachua "blue". They grew fast, caus they were marulioides ;-)

I did go back (with-out the fish) and say what they was and the size they get, the fish guy just said we sell them as what we buy them as, same story as every other, they are there just to sell the fish thats all they think about!

some of these fish shops don't know what the hell is going on.I over herd a salesman trying to sell a 2" baby RTC to a guy without even asking him what size tank he has and i know that there isn't to many guys in Johannesburg with 1000 gal tanks.

The sad thing is that when i went there 2 weeks ago they had about 25 baby RTC's and yesterday they only had 2 left so somewhere some one has a couple of monster fish in 55-120 gal tanks.
