P. Jose for sure. And they get larger than 12" if kept in proper conditions, mine went from 1.5" to 13" in around 18 months
Alright Guys, so my suspicions were correct, but is this one of the more aggressive and territorial plecos? Because I would like another pleco for algae control.
At one point I had mine with 6 other pleco's. Little or no aggression tword other pleco's. Mine hates cichlids with a passion though. He will swim laps in my 220 chasing my fish about once a week. Its more funny than harmful though.. and he is decent at algea control. If that is your main concern, get a BN or 2.
