I.D Pleco Please?

Well got this Pleco sold to me as blue spot pleco. Only got it cause it was different and only $10. Dont really know how to explain his features. Not an expert on plecos. Latin name woul help. Here is a really good picture of the pleco for preference.

from what i see in the photo, it looks to have the same body shape as L187. but only better pictures will tell.

Researched more on L187 and it definetely is a L187! Thanks for the help

Thats a L187a Spotted rubber lip pleco. I have one in my pleco tank.

As Peacock Rey said, it may be a L187a. Do some research, there are different variants of the L187 species.

Depends, mine were $5 each. Wild ones are like $25. I'm not sure about your variant though.

Depends on size and who you buy from. I think a safe bet would be between $10-15
