my orinos get bars just like the bass in the first pic, as well as the facial markings. I noticed that they get them during the day and at nighttime it goes back to dots. Orinos are everywhere. Aside from Rapps batch, are they all wildcaught?
West1 yu can try and PM bOOsten. He should be able to answer your question with a knowledgable response. He has done well for me over the years.
Its an orino, my 9 all get like that. And the horizontal line stops just before it gets into the tail. Not a tem, not an azul or intermedia, its 100% orino. I have a second batch from Rapps, all have the cheek markings, the first batch as well got them when stressed or showing aggression the horizontal line appears.
the second pic you posted on page 1 the fish at the bottom is one of your orinos, with the horizontal line runnnig up to the cheek plate, I dont understand where all the guess work and doubts are coming from. Dont take that the wrong way, I just dont understand why any of you guys would say its not an orino when theres 5 right there with it.
