it really is one of those species that is way too common in the aquarium trade that shouldn't be, they are a schooling species that gets up to 4 feet, unless you have a 2000 gal cicular pond so they wont smash their face in then you really shouldnt keep these fish

i have never seen a healthy iredecent shark that was over 12 in, all the big ones in captivity usually have a deformed face or missing an eye from banginig into the glass so much
 
One day, ONE DAY I will go out and find all the large or stunted or both ID cats in my area, buy them all up, and put them in a pool already cycled and planted loosely and let them have fun. Of course, that would mean I'll have to research and make sure I too can swim in a pool with these cats....does a 30 foot pool five feet deep sound okay?
