Its really hard to tell which of the four it is when they are young like this. It will take some time for the fish to grow into is adult coloration before you are able to identify the specific species.

i think we shouldnt have such short tempers on this forum (i need to work on that too) OSCAR AND REDTAIL cat doesnt need to spell perfectly it doesnt really matter. i have seen grownups write way worse then he does and some people naturally dont write as smooth as others this is a fish forum not a forum to criticize one another some people dont know there are four species of tiger shovelnose to me a TSN is a Pseudoplatysoma tigrinum. i think every one is acting like know it alls or smart alecs becuase somebody didnt know some thing thats why i sometimes think threads like this should close.
