i'm not really sure how often hybridization occurs in the wild. even though they are similar looking fish, there cant be too much hybridization otherwise they wouldnt have their own identities... hmm but your starting to recognise my fears, 'cause i dont really deal in hybrids (not for the amount they want for it anyway).
 
um its 30£ i think, which would be something like 59 dollars US? but also in equivalence it is average to buy an adult hypancistrus L260 for about £20 which i think is 39 dollars.

well, everything is relative to where you are. plecs dont really come that cheap if you want any of the "exotic" species over here.... what ever that means lol

least we'll always beat australia for prices :D
 
The revised pictures look like an L260. My guess would be individual pattern mutation. Same as say an L098.
 
I would disagree with the hypancistrus sp. monte dorado. Although it has the faint colors, monte dorado have fewer stripes than L260. They are noticably more yellow in stripe color as well.
