I hand feed my arowana who is only like 10 inches... And idk why but i always end up with a clean CUT on my hand... I think its like his lip or something... Ive heard it could be they're tounge though...

I damn near got my GATF to take pellets from my hand one time. I'd imagine I could if I starved him well. I'm not exactly sure I'd want him to hand feed though lol.

My black aro does handfeed. I'll try to get a video when I get off of work tomorrow night.

This video is over 6 years old and is bad quality, but its also quite embarrassing as the dovii was in a small algae'd up tank at the time. The end of the clip shows him twice the size in a bigger tank, although still too small. The lfs sold me 3 of these wolf cichlids when they were 2" with no warning of potential size and when I was young and naive. This male killed the other two very early on, he was truly psychotic.

You can see how healthy he is though, and he was treated very well. He was like a friend, such a great personality. RIP Dave

I keep trying to get a video of hand feeding my shark and ray but its hard to feed and try to record by myself. I will keep trying and when I get a video ill post it up.
