Mbu. Both were listed as cyphotilapia frontosa or something of that sort. I know it was the same name. Are there many different species?

I don't think it's a different species (although I could be wrong) I always just thought it was different variations. Mpimbwe blues, Zaire Blues, Burundis, Kilipis, etc.

yes you are absolutely right....and Aribenlaw there is a great Frontosa thread in african section{sticky} where you can see so many of them...

One looks like a Zaire Blue, but tough to tell.

i think they are all same genus and species fronts but then there are different collection points around the lake that are very different in color.
