I did a naughty

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Corner carving FTW! Go for it, and let me know if/when you start hitting the courses with it. My POS might make it out that way for some running this Spring.

Ash, you need to get the ASX's, the AST's are only H rated and are only good to 130 MPH! :D

And what do you know about 130?

In your first picture you somehow focused on the STOP sign.

BTW, if you run Rota's on a track, you will morph them, and turn them into some other wheel knockoff, or they'll completely break apart. Knockoff's suck, at least your camera is good.

Forget the front end conversion until you've got some decent suspension for it. Lose the mudflaps and the 4x4 ride-height and it'll look great!

If you're into autocross/handling etc then ditch the rotas for some decent light weight mags (regamasters, SSR, volk etc), you'll notice an improvement in handling and acceleration from the reduction in unsprung weight.

Congrats on your new cam, Ash! "You get what you pay for"... that's what I always say! If you're happy with it, hey, that's all that matters!

Nice ride, btw... always loved Acuras. my Integra back in tha day... I'm old school, never really got into the fast racing scene.

I'm a cruiser... "If you're important, they'll wait for you!" :D

Just ride in my girl's TL now, let her do the driving! ;)

Thanks you everyone! I am not worried about the rotas and they were free. I am borrowing them from the bf as in they are mine I just cant sell them or trade them - I cant complain otherwise b/c they are free =]

I have heard of rotas breaking apart before but there are some people here that run rotas on the track and have not had a problem. They are not my favorite wheels, but if I got new ones that will be way down the road - I have to much I need to do with my car to just fix it back into shape and those are the more important things to be at the moment. I just want to auto x and that will be awhile anywho.

Suspension is going pretty well and I am not a 4x4 I am on a 1.7" drop - for some reason it just doesnt look low in photos but its lower then plenty of other lowered cars if you see it in person. I ve been working on suspension little at a time, my entire rear suspension rusted away (due to previous owner living up north then moving to the beach) so I re did my entire rear, well my bf re did my rear I was the help. It was a good excuse for some new goodies though!

Oh, and most important thing, don't worry about buying lenses and crap, learn to shoot the camera well. You can have the best stuff in the world, but not know crap about the camera, and take horrible shots.

I highly suggest taking a DSLR course through a local college if you can.
