I Did it Again! Sold as Ocell

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Awww, hi Shelby! I'm sorry I've been slacking on my fish photography, been busy with newlywed life. Water changes are still going strong. Bloop and her stripey companion have grown up enough that they've graduated to the 300 gallon tank about a month ago!! There's a female jag with babies in there pushing her around a bit, but Bloop has started flaring back. Once the jags are moved out to a growout tank, and she gets another inch or two on her, I think we'll be seeing a new tank boss. :) She's currently about 9 inches long.

Blurry, but I love how sassy she is in this pic!

Yep, she still sticks her face in the camera as soon as she realizes it's there. :)

Bloop is taking her sweet time growing out. Can't rush perfection! I estimate that she's about 9.5 inches long, there was a bit of a spurt when she was first put into the 300 gallon, but she's just ticking along. I don't think Cichla or fishkeeping even will be a priority for me in 2014, but I will keep her close and keep sharing her because I know some folks miss seeing people hang onto the same fish. So here's some profile shots of each side, including one which shows some interesting spangling on her dorsal fin and along her belly, as well a FAAAAABULOUS closeup.
