i put carpet on the ground and then the liner. thinking about putting a bottom on it and tileing the inside. we shall see.

What thinkness of wood is the pond made out of ?

Have you had any isues of bowing or flexing in the wood ?

I am planning on making a indoor/ shed wooden pond early next year , some thing like yours . I am trying to get as much info/ hlp on making one before i start buying things for it .

i did the same kinda of pond and the boards will bow or flex a tad because if the pressure but I put tons of braCES on each side to support it fully....thats where most of the money on this project went to..BRACES!!!!.

Thanks , im stilling thinking on the best way for me to do mine . I would love to do it with wood , so i am searching about on the best way to do it .
 
just wanted to say congradulations to a job well done..that is one awesome looking pond... so neat and sweet... you do great work... and should feel very proud!!
 
I bet there will be close to a dozen people making these ponds w/ your basic layout. Very nice and simple. I love the wood look and Im now putting this thread in my favorites so I too can make one of these in the future. Put some peacock bass in there!
