I didn’t need to but I did!

What bulbs are included? If somewhat decent you can put moss and anubias in there too. Those are easy to grow :)

what you need is a female parrot fish...
With a FH in a 75?

All 3 of these kits mentioned come with LEDs just white, no blue, red, green. I tried to grow Java fern in it and didn't work due to white only lights and it died off.

That 55 you mentioned Hendre is the same kit I bought for Toni like 5 months ago. Well I put an Aquaclear 110 on it instead and saved the filter it came with for a backup. Good thing I did it, a month later my son's mother's filter died on her 40b and she is using the one that came with the 55 now.

I dont plan on any live plants, Fred likes to rearrange all the fake plants already I’m sure he would destroy real ones.
The light has blue red and white bulbs

this thread got me all fired up and, I too, didn't need to but I did ..

60G Marineland (same dimensions as 55G but 5" taller) w/ light lid stand - $185

tough to pass up

now the fun part ..what to stock?

I’m stuck on how to scape it?!?! His 40g was a black background and black sand. It really made Fred POP. But it definitely showed waste.
Maybe black stones or white stones?? I think I’m over the sand. I really like the bare bottom look with a large piece of driftwood idk I’m at a stand still for now.

I’ve had black substrate and bare ..bare showed even more waste, upkeep to good standards was more work but maybe I was doing something wrong ..but can’t beat a clean bare bottom for optical pleasure
