I'd also like to know what size tank. if the flowerhorn survives to maturity it will most likely wind up taking over the tank and, unless the tank is very large, the FH could easily start killing off tankmates.

none of the fish you currently keep can hold their own with a full grown, adult male FH.

Absolutely agree. Once a FH reaches maturity they usually explode with aggression! Just keep an eye on him.

I'll remove him well before that happens.

As it stands he has shown absolutely no sign of aggression but eats like an alligator.

Flowerhorns are not the type of fish to gradually show aggression. You'll wake up one day and the flowerhorns murderous tendencies will have shown themself during the night. 135 gallons is not big enough.
