I don't really hate any fish.. Just pikes seem to stress people out with their relentless attitude.. :) In tank with the fish solo that can be a great quality but for communitys not so much.

But all in all I think some of them are very cool and the red atapabo(sp?) are :drool:

Guilty as charged about that one!! LoL!! Perhaps too much enthusiasm about them, but I just love them. They are to me like Clown Loaches are to you. Can't get enough of em! :D Just wanna share the fun of keeping them with other people! But to each their own. I don't really try to cram keeping pikes down peoples throats...lol. If they are thinkin of keeping them, I'll encourage it, but if they don't want to, I try not to push it...;).

Anywho, I personally can't stand African cichlids. I can appreciate their colors, and some of them are pretty attractive, but they get on my nerves. Can't stand them. I'll fight it as long as I can to never have any in any of my tanks. They have just taken over the aquarium hobby, which really annoys me. Now its a hassle to find good CA/SA cichlids because most LFS only sell or focus on Africans.

+3! the store i work at actually does more business with american cichlids than african. i cant see some one truly hating a fish though. as far as the hybrid thing its not the fish' fault thats like saying hitler was right for killing countless people of the jewish origin. you cant persecute them for something they cannot help. and as for me....
