I don't have a lung fish, but there is one @ my LFS, what is so great about them, i always see him on the bottom same spot everytime...the owner said i should get one and im like why to watch him slowly die. There kinda scary looking, i told him he needs to stock arowan but hes like no one wants them, they want lung fish i laughed havnt been in there in like 2 months...i wonder if he has any arowana geuss i should go and look hehe

LungFish are pretty cool to keep. I've been keeping lungs now for about 8 out of the 15 years in the hobby and I'm never turning back.
But I hear ya man, not everyone "Diggs" them. If the pet store has no interests in selling Arows, then I would pass them up too. I would just think that if you are a business man, you would want to keep at least one Arow and Lung to provide a greater chance of selling one or the other.

Keep a good thick layer of mud on the bottom of your tank... Enough for the Lung Fish to completely bury itself.. Dry up the tank and put it in the garage for 6 months then refill it and see who comes out LOL

I have several and believe me, I want to try it out too! But the good side of me says "No, they will die!" I've read alot articles on them and this process that they can do. Alot of scientists have trouble re-creating the right environmental changes to get the lungfish to hibernate. Failure is death of the Lungfish.
