yep.. they are cold water fish. they are very well suited for outdoor ponds.
i think they are cool and i've thought about getting one, still might when i move and build a nice outdoor pond that's big enough. they are supposed to get 4 or 5 ft long i think.
my ex and i often talked about it and building a moat or a big pond so we could have some serious monster fish.

i thinks dwarf sturgeon is different(base on wiki hehe!)
they are skitish, i havent seen mine stop swimming and they to this upside down swimming so cool. and i read that when they grow they stick their nose out of the pond and lets you touch them.
