so this is what i have in my tank so far.

55 gallon
2 geos
1 chocolate cichlid
3 fire eel ( i might get rid of two.
1 catfish

i am deciding between Cryptoheros sajica, nicaraguensis i don't know which one would get along with my other fish? :nilly:

I am guessing that you want to add another fish to your tank correct?

It would really help a ton if you could give us more information. Tell us what you want to do, your tank setup etc.

Well with the fire eels, and assuming your catfish is the id cat in your avatar your pretty overstocked as it is. I would plan upgrading before you add to the bioload.

dude, its technically already over-crowded, those fire eels turn into GIANTS, and then even ONE fire eel by itself in that tank would be too much

theyre right.... ever seen a 2 foot fire eel?
2 feet is quite an understatement. They grow to 36 inches. My local public aquarium exhibit houses a fire eel at an estimated 36-38 inches in length.

No more fish. 2 Geo's and a chocolate is a full 55g when they are adults. You already need to get rid of all 3 of the fire eels and the ID cat. Like said about the fire eels can get 3ft and the ID get huge. You would need an 8ft 300g tank as a minimun to keep it.
