dogofwar;3257174; said:Neither - both sajica and nicaraguense are central americans and potentially quite a bit more aggressive than the Satanaperca leucosticta (jurapari-type) that I seem to remember from your other, similar threads.
Depending on the personalities of the fish involved, it could work out...but it could also, more probably, result in one or both of the CA cichlids pounding on the Geos.
Your tank is already overstocked. Wait until you have another, bigger tank before adding more fish.

jgentry;3257225; said:Those are 2 of the larger growing Geo's. You do not need to add anymore fish. Both of your Geo's can get 10" and your chocolate will get 10+" with proper care. Combine that with 3 fire eels can get 3ft and you will have one very overstocked tank. Even with removing 2 fire eels your tank is going to be overstocked and nearly impossible to keep your water clean.
Just wait until you get a bigger tank and then you might think about adding more fish, but the tank is going to have to be a lot larger. I wouldn't recommend either of the fish you want with your current fish. If you get a large enough tank it would probably work, but not in the 55g. Like I said, just wait until you upgrade before buying anything else. Too often people by a bunch of fish with the plans of upgrading that never gets to happen. Then you have fish that are cramped and unhealthy.
