i lack a talented drawing ability so i took something i liked and modified it to better suit me. tell me what you think.

the reasons for my moditificion are:

The little fish is for my daughter who should have been born already but isnt here yet. expecting next this wednesday.
The 'C' in the tail is also for my daughter Caitlyn
The 'M' in the middle is for my wife Megan

the rest are just to make it a little different from the original

I didn't mean it in an offensive way.. just that it looks like the kind of tattoos a teenager would get and when they're 50 something years old it'll just look out of place/age.

I'm just speaking from experience, I got a tattoo when I was 14 and it's been barely 4 years and I'm already regretting the design I picked.

I know what you mean bro as I have my last name on my stomach in an arch but really wish I would have gotten old english lettering and wish I would have gone bigger!!!! oh well I've got to live with it now

thats why i dont just get tatoos just because they look cool. i keep in mind that when im old someone will ask me about my tatoos and ask what they mean. i got an eagle on my right arm because im American and the fish is for many reasons.

fishing and fishkeeping are my two biggest hobbies and probably always will be and i added my wife and daughter in there too. i try to keep my tatoos simple so when they fade, you can still tell what they are and they are easily touched up if needed later. i am one of the few who put a little forthough into permanent tatoos.

Anyone else have comments/suggestions?

Like that one better because it's a more complete peice and more of a peice of art rather than just some lines that look like a fish. Either are cool as long as they mean something to you. But I like the 2nd better.
