i've been conducting a social experiment by growing up a pair of baby jaguar cichlids and my baby arowana. after 2 months no troubles. the aro and the two jags got on fine. unfortunately the 65g tank also housed a 12 inch 'synodontis acanthomias', and he has started to harass the aro. today i came home and there is clear damage on the aro, scales missing and fin damage. im gutted and raging. my spare tank is being used as a quarentine and the other 65g is a community tank so thats a no go (well maybe). last resort he is going in the 220g with the pacus. I FEAR FO HIS LIFE. he's only about 7 inch and in the 8 foot tank he looks a tiddler. the 2 small pacu are about 15 and the big one 22.

push comes to shove i'll chuck him in the community tank. the worst that'll happen is a couple of cheap fish will become food.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad.

the syno is the most aggresive fish i own. forget the jaguars they are still babies. i had to take the catfish out the 225g tank because he was attacking my 22 inch pacu. the catfish is nuts!!

two nights gone and the arowana is still alive. pacu dont seem bothered by him.

fingers crossed

You actually though your arowana would fair better against the catfish then your pacu did? :duh:
Seriously, are you trying to kill that arowana?:banhim:

I say... get rid of the catfish.
